Add a library on another device

On the original device, check Settings → Sync and let pending changes finish. You will need the same account and the library’s passphrase on the new device.

1. Install and open Ligature on the new device.
2. Open Settings → Sync and sign in to the same account used on the original device.
3. Choose Add library from account in Sync settings, or Add from Account in the library switcher.
4. In Add library from account, select the library and enter its Passphrase.
5. Choose Add library. Wait while Ligature downloads and applies saved changes.
6. Open a document you recognize and check that the latest writing is present.

Do not create a new synced library just to connect another device. Each synced library has a separate identity, even when the names match.
